Get manager (V2)

Hi, I am new to using flows. If I want to create the "get manager for approval" flow, how do I determine the manager / make a person a manager?

Thanks,

Pascale

@Nebulosa :

You are not required to send an approval to anyone in particular.  The requirement is that the approver must be someone with an account in your organization (at least for now...).  You can enter the email address of anyone in your organization as the approver.

Re: Get manager (V2)

@Nebulosa :

In Office 365, managers are dfined within Exchange - an admin needs to do this.

To find an individuals manager within Flow, use the Get Manager action.  In the approval, use the Mail (i.e. email) column from Dynamic properties for the Get Manager action as the approver.

Re: Get manager (V2)

I see that makes sense.

Is there an alternative to "get manager" flows meaning, is there a way to create a flow for a approval by an individual other tahn a manager? Hope this question makes sense.
