Outlook.com <=> Google Calendar: Remove the comment

I am using two flows for synchronising calendar events in outlook.com and google. Both work fine but there are automatically generated comments inside "---- This event was created by ...".

Is it possible to remove these comments?

Re: Outlook.com <=> Google Calendar: Remove the comment

Hi @BrunoW,

Could you please share a screenshot of the configuration of your flow to synchronise calendar events in outlook.com and google?

Or have you use any templete in flow?

Please share more details so we would try to provide a proper workaround for you.

Best regards,

Alice

Re: Outlook.com <=> Google Calendar: Remove the comment

Hallo Alice,

I am using these templates:
https://emea.flow.microsoft.com/de-de/galleries/public/templates/e9ff7beaedef4aff866f4bf8494ae72d

https://emea.flow.microsoft.com/de-de/galleries/public/templates/b35474d5c24c4063988cdd932d8994b3

But I see an long comment in all synchronised calendar items like this:

-------
Copied from your Outlook.com calendar (AQMkADAwATMwMAItODAyNy1iOTkAYS0wMAItMDAKAEYAAAObPG7ktmKpQ7U_OuA41qpaBwD0hCQQ6ohQSbkALlt8VCVgAAACAQ0AAAD0hCQQ6ohQSbkALlt8VCVgAAHjaTIIAAAA)
Master Event ()
Check out how template works and limitations: https://aka.ms/flowcalendar

I think this is a hint for the possibility of removing this entry later.

Hey man,

Did you find a way to remove that comment? I'm also in the same situation and would like for my events to be synced without a big block of text saying it was copied from outlook.

No, I found no solution and I think that this values are necessary for the possibility of removing the entry later.

Too bad it doesn't actually delete them. I tested right now, and while correctly syncing new events, the flow won't delete an event in google calendar if I delete it on outlook calendar.
