Save email attachments from shared mailbox to SharePoint online

Hi all,

I've been trying to create a flow to save email attachments from a shared mailbox to SharePoint online, but something is wrong. Here's a screenshot of my flow:

I thought this would be enough to make it work, but I'm getting this error message:

Any idea of what am I doing wrong? It's worth to mention that the attachment file is a pdf.

Re: Save email attachments from shared mailbox to SharePoint online

Hi again

THere is a similar description in this thread, it is suggested to mark the following fields in the trigger:

"Has Attachment" = Yes

"Include Attachment" = Yes

Hope this helps

Re: Save email attachments from shared mailbox to SharePoint online

Hi!
I usually recommend to add one or more Compose action block before the failed action block, and assign it the dynamic content of the susoicious inputs (in your case Name and Content). This way, after flow execution you can go to "Run history" and inspect the content of these elements; in order to make sure it matches your expectations
Hope this helps

Hi @efialttes, thanks for your reply!

Microsoft Flow is kind of a new thing for me. Would you mind explaining how can I accomplish that?

Re: Save email attachments from shared mailbox to SharePoint online

Sure! Compose action block was first documented in this post:

https://flow.microsoft.com/es-es/blog/build-advanced-flows/

You can add it inside the Apply To Each loop before the action that is failing (Create File), assigning as Inputs the suspicious outputs from email attachments you are using to build the Create File action block (Name / Content)

In order to inspect a specific Flow execution, you must click on "My Flows", select the Flow you want to inspect. THis will lead you to the flow details page (first documented in https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/error-handling/ ).

Once you select a specific Flow execution, you will be able to inspect the execution details; and also have the posibility to re-execute the Flow.

Hope this helps
