Send an email from a shared mailbox v2 folder not found

Hi

I have a flow where i want to get rid of standart Mail sending functionality and to switch to send email from a shared mailbox but when i do so i get an error message 404 specidief folder not found. I have looked through other posts and it says security issue. I have checked - my user has full access to shared mailbox and has send as also marked.

I made some other tests. I created a new flow when an item is created and on second step i addedd send email from a shared mailbox and it works fine.

What i did next is in original flow where i want to change i moved this send email step as a second step after when an item is crerated and nothiubng changes - i get same error and i can't figure it out why i get this error in existing flow and no issue when adding it into brand new flow

Re: Send an email from a shared mailbox v2 folder not found

Hi @jja ,

Is the existing Flow you mentioned a Team Flow? If so, this may involve the context of the user using Flow.

Basically, when configuring the action related to Shared mailbox, we need to pay attention to the following two points:

  • There is no need to add a semicolon after the Mailbox Address.
  • The account used to configure the connection for this action needs to be a member of this Shared mailbox.

Please check these conditions.

Re: Send an email from a shared mailbox v2 folder not found

Hi,
The flow is not a team flow.
There is no semicolumns.
The account which configured the flow has full access to shared mailbox.
I even tried to re-add office 365 outlook mail connector but it also doesnt help. I also exported the flow package and updated it while importing did not change anything. Prior that i used to get template error so i completely deleted rhis flow and imported it as new.
For me it seems like this flow has some kind of cashe where it cant find that my user has proper access to this shared mail box. Have in mind that when creating new flow this action works fine

Re: Send an email from a shared mailbox v2 folder not found

this is so frustrating. I am recreating the flow and i tested on the begining - send email from a sharedmailbox was working. Now i added some actions some approvals and again same problem!

Unable to process template language expressions in action 'Send_an_email_from_a_shared_mailbox_(V2)' inputs at line '1' and column '2670': 'The template language expression 'json(decodeBase64(triggerOutputs().headers['X-MS-APIM-Tokens']))['$connections']['shared_office365']['connectionId']' cannot be evaluated because property 'shared_office365' doesn't exist, available properties are 'shared_sharepointonline, shared_office365users, shared_approvals'. Please see https://aka.ms/logicexpressions for usage details.'.

What is wrog with it?

Re: Send an email from a shared mailbox v2 folder not found

Hi

Maybe @v-bacao-msft some microsoft staff can comment or giude what is wrong with send an email from a shared mailbox. Why such a lot of people get this error.

What i did now i exported the flow. Deleted this one not working and at least it alows me to use simple send email notification connector. I also tried to add again to send from a hared and i get same error. And it seems such a simple action.

Please try to export the Flow to a .zip file and re-import it as a new Flow. After configuring the connection, this problem will be solved.

Hope it helps.

Re: Send an email from a shared mailbox v2 folder not found

We have also experienced this issue.  Removing the Flow connection in PowerApp and reconnecting fixes the issue.  This is a known bug by Microsoft going back, from what I have been told, to 2018.
