Status Skipped.

I have a very simple flow that takes an attachment from a new email and writes it to a document library.  So some reason flow are not failing or succeding but are being ":skipped".  Is that something going on?

Re: Status Skipped.

Skipped basically means the condition that you set "On new email" was not met to execute the flow - for instance if you had a condition like "on new email from foo@bar.com" and there was an new email but not from foo@bar.com the status would be skipped.

Re: Status Skipped.

Hi NeoGrendal,

I assume that you created the flow without using this template:
https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/galleries/public/templates/f7a46809e53c42108034e56acf83bb79/save-my...

Please try to create a flow using this template to see if an email attachment could be saved to SharePoint library.

Please let me know if it works.

Best regards,
Mabel Mao

Re: Status Skipped.

I am using the Create a File in SharePoint From an email.

On a New Email - looking at the Inbox/Attachments set to TRUE and Subject is PaymentProcessor

Testing in the past shows that the actual email Subject could be PaymentProcessor_2017-04-01.xlsx but now I get the Skipped status.

I have now sent 3 emails with attachments and just with the Subject PaymentProcessor and I still get a Skipped status.

Re: Status Skipped.

I just removed the Subject Line and now I am using the Email Account (rule) with the subject line to send the inbox mail to a folder and have the Flow look there - still get the Skipped status

INPUTS
  • Folder
    PaymentProcessor
  • Importance
    Normal
  • Has Attachment
    True
  • Include Attachments
    True
