Re: VSTS | Entering values to a custom Mandatory Field for a work Item

Hi Bharathrajakr,

I created a custom field in my Visual Studio Team Services. Then I created a flow to create a new work item in VSTS when a new email is arrived, it seems that only these fields: Title, Description, Priority, Iteration path, Area path, Link URL, Link type, Link comment of each Work Item type are shown. There is no custom field. To populate values to mandate custom fields, I would suggest you to submit an idea at “Flow Ideas”.

Here is the link of “Flow Ideas”:

Unfortunately custom fields in VSTS are not supported today but we have this on our backlog and are investigating options. Please add an idea so that other users can vote on it as well!
