add a line to excel - status 401 unauthorized

I have a flow that works very well but for one person it failed and I am not sure why.

It looks like an access error, but I don't know who was connected on the flow so I can't check the permission to the file. Is this information available somewhere (clientrequestid maybe ) ?

Is it possible that the problem comes from elsewhere ?

Re: add a line to excel - status 401 unauthorized

Hi @JulieTE ,

Please check if the connection account currently configured for this action has the corresponding permissions.

You could try to update or create a new connection.15.PNG

In addition, you could try to replace the trigger with a Button, click Test to run Flow, and click Edit connection to see the details of the action configuration when Flow is running.

If it is not expected, please switch to the expected connection:16.PNG

Please take a try.

Re: add a line to excel - status 401 unauthorized

Hi Barry,

As I mentioned my flow works fine for any other case, I actually resent it and it worked (with the account currently configured which is mine). Also, other users had it triggered with no issue since.

I would just like to understand why this one time didn't work because I don't want it to reproduce.

Is it linked to the user who triggered it or it is an isolated bug ?
