About Microsoft Flow limitations

Hello,

in the official documentation https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/limits-and-config/  I see :

Run duration30 daysIncludes workflows with pending steps like approvals. After 30 days the pending steps will Time Out.
Storage retention30 days

Question 1: Run duration : If I understand correctly an approval cannot wait for more than 30 days ? Is this true today ?

Does that also means that a workflow run duration cannot be > 30 days ? if I have approval1 (takes 10 days), followed by approval 2 (takes 20 days), followed by approval 3 (takes 20 days), this cannot work ?

Question 2 : storage retention : what does that mean exactly ? is this the workflow history ?

Re: About Microsoft Flow limitations

Hi sergeluca,

About question1, The run duration of a flow is 30 days. After 30 days, your flow will stop running.

About your scenario, I am afraid it cannot work. As the duration is 30 days, I assume that it is from the run start time.

About question2, per my understanding, I think it should be the Run history of the flow. If I check the Run history of flows that I created two month ago or three month ago, there is nothing there. While I can check the run history of flows that within one month.

Hope this could be a reference for you.
