Actions in this flow may result in an infinite trigger loop -giving me 2 emails for every item added in sharepoint

Hello Power Automate team, 

Can you help me how to resolve this issue of getting 2 emails  duplicate emails)  whenever there is an item created in my sharepoint list?

I checked some other posts but i cannot find the issue in my flow.

I get this error:

So I tried to populate the fields:

but it still doesn't work.

Hi @kharina 

Can you share more details on the use case? The trigger you have chose is When an item is created or modified and this flow will kick off everytime an item is created or modified and in the flow as you are updating the item, it gets modified and hence gets into the infinite loop. 

If you want to trigger the flow only when the item is created, use the when an item is created trigger instead.

Hi @yashag2255 

The option that you gave me actually is not giving me 2 emails anymore. However, my flow would stop at a certain point.  It affected the flow after email approval.  It is giving me an error to copy the items from my sharepoint list 1 to my 2nd sharepoint list.

But Thank you because it worked - for the email part  - (which is really annoying when receiving duplicate emails from just 1 new added item). 

So for my other issue, I think I have to make 2 flows- I will try it for now. 

I accepted the solution as it is the right answer to my question. I really appreciate your time.
