In an hybrid environment, is it possible possible to add a user to an on-premises security group though a flow action?
Try reading the following Add members to a distribution list – Power Automate - DamoBird365 all you need is the AAD Security Group GUID, as the add member to group action will not show the security group name dynamically.

Thanks for your response. I know you can add to an AAD security group, but I want to add to an on-premises Active Directory security group. The on-premises groups cannot be edited in Azure or Microsoft 365 space. You need to edit them on-premises only. Hope this helps.
@ranjeetnegi apologies. I’ve done little with onPrem AD. Seems like it’s on the ideas list as there is no out of the box method. https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Automate-Ideas/Support-for-on-premise-Active-Directory/idi...
@DamoBird365 no worries. Microsoft supports hybrid environments. I can't think of a reason why Microsoft hasn't got something in place for on-prem yet. Thanks for your response.
I recognize that I didn’t try it.
Theoretically, you can try with a power automate desktop flow and a proper gateway installed on AD server. Call the flow from a power automate cloud flow with security group and user name passed as variables.
All you have to do is to carefully project your desktop flow.
@gabibalaban thanks for your response. I too heard something similar. I'll try finding the steps somewhere and see if I can test it.
