Hello Community,
I have a flow that is designed to populate a SharePoint list with emails that come in to my inbox. I have it set to where the title of the SharePoint entry is the subject line of the email. I have set this title column to enforce unique values. The problem is, my list will have duplicates based on if outlook puts the RE: for a reply or not. Is there a way around this? I want to be able to capture all emails just once. Is there a way to alter the email variable to take away the RE: from the subject line in flows? This way all of my subjects would be the same throughout the email chain and I would not have duplicates. Any other ideas?
You could append the date/time to the beginning or end of the Title to get unique values, or you could delete the entry and re-add it if the subject matches via a conditional check.
If you could provide an expanded screenshot of your Flow and steps, your Flow run history, and of any detailed error messages you're receiving we could likely better assist you. Also, for the best results, you may want to review How to write a good forum post.
