Approval Emails - Markdown Broken?

It seems the ability to share clickable hyperlinks using flow approvals is broken for the Outlook PC and web clients.

Is there any update on when this will be fixed (or if there is a workaround)?

Re: Approval Emails - Markdown Broken?

Hi @therrick,

I have tested on my side that create a hyperlink by using Markdown syntax put in Approval details, and it runs successful.

Re: Approval Emails - Markdown Broken?

Hey @therrick

I have tried replicating the issue and observed that the hyperlink part is indeed not working in the Details attribute for the approval actions. It is only working in the Item Link attribute part. If you think this should be added as a functionality for the approvals action you can raise an idea or upvote already existing ones here: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Automate-Ideas/idb-p/FlowIdeas

If you want to add hyperlinks and more HTML you might try the Send email with options action for outlook.

Hope this Helps!

Re: Approval Emails - Markdown Broken?

Thanks for the response, I edited my approval and the link started working.

I think I must have formatted something wrong initially.
