Attaching a small .mp4 video to your Flow generated mail

Hi all,

I am building a Flow for automatically sending an introductory mail to our new employees which has a number of attachments in it.

I successfully fetched the pdfs from Sharepoint and attached them to the mail using the Get file contents action. Only when I fetch and attach a small 5MB tutorial video to the mail the Flow stops working, doesn't want to send the mail and throws a Bad Gateway error.

When I manually send the mail I can normally attach the video and send it, no biggie. Flow can't do it for some reason.

Any ideas?

Hey @NSimpraga ,
The V2 Office O365 Outlook actions use the graph API which has a max limit of 4MB currently... this is detailed on the connector documentation - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/office365/
The V1 actions whilst deprecated don’t use the graph API and support larger attachments.... might be a temporary work around but you may not be able to see them (I can't).
You could also try adding the attachments to a zip file (.zip) using the Encodian ‘Add to Archive (ZIP)’ action but whilst you might reduce the attachment size it’s not a robust solution in isolation.

Oh wow, a bit disappointing but thank you for the info!

Ended up uploading the video to Sharepoint and just sharing the link to it. At least I know why it doesn't work now.

Thanks again!
