Business process flow from lead to opportunity

Hi all,

I am looking to create a scenario on a opportunity form in D365 Sales & Marketing where a probability of success field (whole number) on the opportunity form updates with values as per the Business process flow stages. Each Business process flow stage has at least two substages field with one or two values.

My question is how can I acheive this, I assume along the lines of building a business rule or workflow to kick it off?

Any guide or steps on this issue is much appreciated.
