I have done a flow supposed to interact with an excel file uploaded on a sharepoint site.
The fact is that I can access to file properties through a request with "Send an http request to sharepoint" block. But I can't go further and "fetch" the item as a workbook.
Here is a part of my flow where "Sortie" is the Ms graph id of the file (014ASQQRCXU54B7JPDG5GKYGFOCB2N4CBU) :
This request returns this error:
While the request without "/workbook/worksheets" returns this:
Do you have any solution to interact with the file as a workbook object ?
Hi @R4ID ,
From the response data you provide, it does not contain properties such as workbooks or worksheets.
And as far as I know, most of the features in Flow are used to process Excel tables, it is difficult to parse the data in the worksheet.
In addition, there is a worksheet related blog, please check it and see if it helps:
Hello @v-bacao-msft, thanks for your help.
"From the response data you provide, it does not contain properties such as workbooks or worksheets."
My bad, I hid the part with the name and the file format.
Here are more information about the file itself :
- I have two worksheets named "Execution" and "Agregation".
- Inside each worksheet, there is a table named as the worksheet (Sheet Execution -> Table Execution, Sheet Agregation -> Table Agregation).
- The first table have 3 columns, the seconde one 4.

Well, I didn't show all the flow but I already try this solution. And it works well as far as you only trying to get data from the file.
But It doesn't work when I try to update a table using "Add a row into a table" because Ms flow doesn't display the fields to fill the table.
Any idea ?
Hi @R4ID ,
Unfortunately, we are currently adding data to Excel file on runtime.
Add a row into a table action only supports adding data to a pre-configured Excel table, and the Excel file needs to be selected from File browse.
A known limitation with the excel connectors is that the list rows in a table, update rows etc. such actions, need select excel file and the table already exists.
