Can't @mention in adaptive card to Flow channel

Hi,

I want to use adaptive cards for a very simpel thing: the standard Teams message action can't be used to @mention users ot the whole Team (afaik).

The announcement of the Flow Adaptive Card Action states that it is possible to @mention  using them in Teams.

I was unable to make it work however, the announcement says that all that is needed is to enclose the user with <at>user@email</at>. but the post just rendered the <at> as a literal text.

Can anyone provide a simple example of using mentions to the team and individual users with Adaptive Cards?

Thanks

Hi @TiagoFreire,

Yeah, I just find we can only use the mention in the action "post a message to a channel".

Hi @TiagoFreire,

This is the example that sends an adaptive card to Flow channel:Annotation 2019-08-20 161427.png

Correct result:

Annotation 2019-08-20 161245.png

Wrong result(with a wrong email address):Annotation 2019-08-20 161734.pngSo you need to make sure the email address is correct, and it still exists.

Thanks!

That helps, but is not an adaptive card.

Is there a way to do it within adaptive cards?

Hi @TiagoFreire,

You can have a reference to the designer of the adaptive card, there are many templates of the adaptive card, you can choose what you like:

https://adaptivecards.io/designer/

I hope it can help you.

It doesn't help.

There is nothing in the adaptive cards reference on how to build a mention, and I couldn't manage to create a hyperlink that could be interpreted as a mention.

So while a plain message can @mention people, seems that there is no way to that with a card?

Hi @TiagoFreire,

Yeah, I just find we can only use the mention in the action "post a message to a channel".
