Cant Send Email v2 Power Automate

Hello, as the title stated, I actually needed help with my power automate. so I wanted to make a system where user fills in data into Microsoft Forms. Then the data will be stored into SharePoint. After that Power Automate will check the flow and sends an auto generated email to a user. Basically , I couldn't two things right.

1. I made a Sharepoint List but it doesnt have Value Stream data even though I already filled it in using Choice.

2. Because of this, Power Automate wouldn't send an email to me.

Here are screenshots that I could provide, if you needed additional information, please let me know and thank you all in advance!

Sorry, did not follow your question.

I can see that the Choices in Microsoft form matches those in SharePoint

I also see that your flow sends email only if the condition is satisfied.

Are you suggesting that the flow run doesn't satisfy the condition when it should?

Are you able to share a screenshot of the flow run?

I can't see what this is but it should be Value Stream Value (not Value Stream)

If my suggestion helped you, please give it a Thumbs up and mark it as a Solution so that it can benefit others in the community.

Hello! Yes as you can see everything was correct, the flow isnt generating any emails. here is the flow you requested , I tried using the first condition but it says that the branching condition is not satisfied. Im sorry if my question is confusing but I couldnt explain it in better terms

Ok, this should be an easy one,

Just place a compose action above the condition and print whatever you are using in the Condition clause.

SudeepGhatakNZ_0-1665026986373.png

Then investigate the values to find out why the condition is not satisfied.

If my suggestion helped you, please give it a Thumbs up and mark it as a Solution so that it can benefit others in the community.

It seems that the inputs and outputs doesn't detect the data I put into sharepoint. I've made sure my condition was Value Stream Value in power automate. Is there something Im able to do about this?

Since the compose action is not printing anything, it confirms that the values are returned as empty string.

That is why your condition is not met.

Are you able to provide a screenshot of your SharePoint list settings page?

If my suggestion helped you, please give it a Thumbs up and mark it as a Solution so that it can benefit others in the community.

Yes I can, here it is.

Edit : I added something you might want to see as well

Can you confirm there is an item in your list with:

Type of suggestion = "Energy Savings/XXXX" AND Value Stream = "GCU5XXXX"

Also,

Can I see what expression have you used in the Compose/Condition actions?

Type of suggestion Value and Value Stream Value is what I expect to see there. Is that what it is?

If my suggestion helped you, please give it a Thumbs up and mark it as a Solution so that it can benefit others in the community.

I can confirm that there is an item with those mentioned list

H  ere are the list of choices in sharepoint

And this is the compose/condition I used to check, at first I tried Types of Suggestion and Value Stream, only types of suggestion's input pops up but not value stream value. Then I tried only value stream value and surely enough. no input was in there

This is very strange!

Are you able to post the output of your Item Created trigger output?

I want to check if they appear in the trigger

Yes of course, here it is

Hello, as it would seem , my "get response" power automate doesn't have the Value Stream Value for the Microsoft forms. I added it back now, but it still does not send any email. and Value Stream in sharepoint still isnt there

Is that a screenshot of a different flow?

If my suggestion helped you, please give it a Thumbs up and mark it as a Solution so that it can benefit others in the community.

yes it is, its used to get response from my other flow

Okay, so the problem lies here.

Since your MS Forms field returns a blank and hence the field in SP is not getting populated and so the condition is never met.

Compare the Value Stream field in MS forms to other choice fields (in MS Forms) and see what is different about it?

If my suggestion helped you, please give it a Thumbs up and mark it as a Solution so that it can benefit others in the community.

MOE3.PNG

The obvious one that I could see is the MOE3 is the only one with a comma, I also checked the Sharepoint, there are no difference between the conditions. Although there is something that has been on my mind about the sharepoint.

This one is the other one, it has all of this options.

While the one Im working on, only had these. I hope this would be helpful in a way
