Change to underlying table in SQL Insert Rows

New to PA but enjoying it so far. Have a simple flow that reads JSON from an API and writes to an Azure instance of SQL Server. Works great.

I have an inbound column that has a date in EPOCH format, so I've added a new Date column to the table and want to transform that column on the way in. I'll figure out the transform part easy enough I hope, but right now I can't figure out how to get the insert row step to 'resync' metadata with the database table to even show the newly added column in the database.

Any advice on how to accomplish that or do I just have to rebuild it - not an issue but just have to remap ~60 columns.

Thanks!

Hi @TDMatthews ,

Just to clarify, you dont see the new date column in your action right?  Are you using Insert Row?

Is your SQL in a vNet and are you connecting via a data gateway?

I have experienced a delay of a couple hours to a day between schema changes and it showing up in the action.  A search also indicates a common occurence.

If you add a new action, does the new column show up?

Well, I didn't expect it to be that easy, but you nailed it. Took a few hours to propagate but it is there now. That's actually good to know, might save me some more grief down the line
