Complex/advanced flow

Hello Community.

I am new with Flow, and created a simple one that includes a recurrence to send an email and would like to know how:

- Create a good elaborated email (not a simple plain text email)

- I would like to add a new control after the email is sent so the people confirms the task requested in some Excel File

Can this be done?

Thanks in advance for the information.

Hi @egsdar,

Do you want to add controls to the email body?

Could you provide more details about "the people confirms the task requested in some Excel File"?

The recipient is to confirm the request directly through the controls set in the body?

I am not sure how you want to get the task request.

In addition, I want to know what role Excel file plays here. Could you provide more information about it?

It would be helpful if you could post more details and we would provide a proper workaround for you.

Best Regards,

Barry

@egsdar:

To allow a user to respond to a question, use the Send Email with Options action.

In the email action, you can click on "Show Advanced Options" and then set the HTML option to Yes.  Using HTML in the email body may allow you to meet your requirement for an "elaborate" email.

If you Excel requirement is to add a row to an Excel worksheet, you can likely meet your requirement by leveraging the Excel Online (Business) action which does allow you to add a row to a table.  You can use a condition that evaulates the email response and updates the Excel table accordingly.

If this address your issue, please mark your question as Solved.
