Hi @drako

One of the best practices followed while creating azure infrastructure deployments is using ARM templates. I have a blog post here: https://www.bythedevs.com/post/automate-azure-infrastructure-deployments-with-power-automate that shows how to invoke the ARM action by connecting to azure and deploying a storage account (you can replace that with a VM template).

Hope this Helps!

Hi Drako,

There is no direction actions available in power automate or Winatuomation tool bought by microsot. refer the pic below.

But you can use powershell script to connect azure and create virtual machine from WinAutomation desktop rpa software owned by microsoft now. You can use your power automate license to use this tool.  You can use the below link to download this software

https://www.winautomation.com/

Also refer the below link to know the about the sample about how to create VM using Powershell tool.

Below is one of the sample automation to monitor the database size from multiple servers and update the data in SharePoint online using Powershell. This can be automated and run in an unattended manner.

Hi Drako,

You can also try azure automation option and it is a premium one. You create a job in azure to create virtual machine and execute the same from power automate. Follow the below article. You should create a resource manager template for vm and then using runbook you can automate vm creation.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/automation/automation-deploy-template-runbook
