Create Excel file if it doesn't already exist

Hello!

 

I have a flow in which I add a row into a table to an existing Excel file for each information that is sent through my form. The whole idea of the flow is pretty much done now, and I'm at the stage where I'm doing error handling and that sort of stuff.

 

My idea was that if the action "add a row into a table"  doesn't find the Excel file, I could just create one from scratch that could be used in the meantime.

 

Thing is I have no idea how to go about this. I don't know how I can create the Excel file, and then I probably need to create a table in that file in order for it to get my information. Any ideas?

Hi @ScottShearer,

 

Thanks for the tutorial. Don't know how I didn't come across this.

 

I almost made it work, I'm just missing something that is shown in the tutorial. For some reason, when he does the action "Add a row into a table", he has a field "Row", in which he puts the ouputs of the Compose with the info to put in the table.

 

I don't have that field and I don't know what I'm missing :

@ScottShearer Oop, nevermind! I figured it out. For some reason I had to refresh my browser for it to show. But anyway it works. I'm sorry and thanks for the help!
