Data Operations - Select changing order of the keys

Hello all,

I've been having a weird issue with my Flow. I am using a Select data operation to select some columns with dynamic expressions in the keys. As a result the select operation is changing the order of the keys and this is affecting my HTML table.

In the example below, the first key is being processed last. Not sure if this a bug or is there a way to fix the order. Any thoughts? I tried to create dummy expressions on all keys so it would take similar processing time for all of them but not sure if this is the correct way of doing it. Any thoughts?

Exactly,

It seems to be a bug but it was fixed. What I did was open the JSON view instead of the current UI of the Map part in the Select/Create Table and make sure the entries are in the right order before saving the flow.

Hi @jeanpro ,

Could you share a screenshot of Flow configuration?

I am wondering if you changed the order of the corresponding column when configuring the key in Select.

The order of the column output by this action and the order in which the HTML table fields are displayed are related to the order of the keys you configure.

You could change the order of the columns according to your needs.

@v-bacao-msft I think what they are saying is that they did have them arranged according to their needs, but microsoft flow keeps changing the order of the keys on its own.

I am having this problem as well, and it's gotten to a point where some flows are unusuable.

Sorry to say but nearly 2 years later this issue has not fixed. I am experiencing it today using a Select action in Power Automate.
