Delay until 3 days before due date

If I have a due date on a SharePoint list, how do send a notice 3 days before that due date as a reminder, and is it best to have it on create or make it a daily schedule?

Hi @send2mark ,

Will the date ever be 30+ days into the future?  There is a limit of 30 days so you may need to use a recurrence / scheduled flow.

oh good point, so let's use the schedule. Based on the date and time field within SharePoint, how do I send an alert 3 days prior to that date?
