I created nightmare for myself, I inadvertadly created a flow that added an attachment to a SharePoint List. The problem was I created another flow that when list was modified also added an attachment from a one drive file I have.
This effectively created a perpetualy loop. Before I realised what was going on I have ended up with about 100 items with anything from 10 to 3000 attachments ( a few had 5000+). Yikes!
Going and removing all the attachments is not really practical. Deleting each entry is an option, but so far the time to delete keeps timing out as the delete process must delete the attachments first. It will take me ages.
Is there a way to do a looping flow that deletes all attachments with exception of the first? I can at least set and forget.
Configure this flow according to the list name and the site, run it, just sit back and watch all the attachments getting deleted. Please enure that you turn off any flow that has a trigger of "When a Sharepoint Item is Created or Modified" so that we don't mess up anything.
Hope this helps.
