Re: Document Location when using Approval Process

Hi @TorAmetek

Flow runs in the context of the account under which the connectors were created in

If Flow is running with an account that has admin access on SP iste, then it will have the same permissions as SharePoint

there is no compromise in terms of security

Re: Document Location when using Approval Process

If by protected access you mean that the approvers don't have read/write access to the list where the document is stored then No you can't do that.  For that you probably need to protect the document with Rights management to let them have access to the library but prohibit download of the actual document.
