Duplicate and Name Sharepoint Folder

I would like to duplicate a sharepoint folder and name it either based on a value from a smartsheet or excel file, or ideally +1 of the current last folder number.

(we have a sharepoint that has folders named 100001, 100002, 100003, etc.) I'd like to copy the template folder and number it the next unused number, let's say 100004. Is this possible?

Can the folder sharepoint share link then be copied to smartsheet and the folder name put in another field? I also use Zapier for automation, but I can't seem to get this to work in Flow or Zapier. Thanks for reading.

Hi @epiekarc,

No, this cannot be achieved so far in flow. As I cannot see any actions that can create a new folder in SharePoint library. If you need this, you could post this idea in the Flow Ideas forum, so it might be considered for future releases.

Hi,

You can copy SharePoint folders and subfolders in Microsoft Flow with the help of Plumsail Actions.

It has Plumsail SP connector that provides a set of actions for SharePoint management, including copying folders cross-site.

The only problem in your case is to add some postfix at the end of the new folder name.
