Hello,
I want to make an approval flow that when accepted, would send another approval to their boss.
See the following image:
Let's imagine that the flow starts at "Department 1". The approval should go to "Department 2" and so on. But if the flow started already at "Department 2", it shouldn't start with "Department 1" but instead with "Department 2".
If i do If's and Else, the flow would be gigantic and would take so much time. Is there an easier way to do this?
Thank you
How is the approval being initiated? Form? How are you going to differentiate if the approval is starting at department 1 or department 2?
Hey there,
The approval starts when creating a sharepoint list item.
They fill out a simple form, and then the approval starts. The flow would differentiate using office 365 information.
What kind of info?
If it's the same form, how will it know if it's starting at department 2? Based on the person submitting?
I really can't say the type of info, but the sharepoint list only has Single Text Lines.
And yes, it would be based on the person submiting.
Hi @Field
The biggest challenge in your Flow approval process would be the Flow run duration period of 30 days
Since you have multi layers of approvals
I reocmmend having a look at Serge Luca's pattern for this
