Dynamics 365 Flow Plan - Number of Runs for Recurrence

Hi,

 

I have Flow that is scheduled to run every day to purge Dynamics CRM records that are older than 30 days.

 

According to the documentation a 'run' is defined:

 

"Whenever a flow is triggered, whether by an automatic trigger or by manually starting it, this is considered a run. Checks for new data don't count as runs."

 

So if I have scheduled job to run fire off ONCE EVERY DAY I am assuming that I have incurred 1 RUN ONLY ?

 

Would a free plan be sufficient for this task?

Hi @Stanza,

 

Yes, as you mentioned, whenever a flow is triggered, it will be considered a run. If your flow is triggered by Recurrence with a once every day frequency, every day you will have only 1 run for this flow.

 

Do you want to use Free Flow plan to run every day? Yes, in a Free flow plan, you could also trigger a flow by using the Recurrence. However, the maximum number of runs per month for per user is 750, more details about the Free Flow plan, please check it at here:

Belongs this to the user account triggered the flow or the account* used inside the flow?

*I have created some flows, that uses my profile/account in the flow to do some actions.
