E-mail notification based on date in Excel workbook

Hi there!
I have an Excel workbook in SharePoint consisting of data from a Forms scheme. I would like to create a flow that sends me a notification e-mail on a given date from one of the columns in the Excel workbook (Expiry date)

Thanks in advance

Hello @EspenRostad

We would like to know what you have tried to do already 🙂

Anyway, this sounds like you want to have a daily flow that reads your rows in the Excel file and based on the date in the Expiry column, will send out an email. Such a flow could consist of these actions:

  • Recurrency trigger
  • Get rows from Excel
  • Filter the rows looking for the Expiry date equal today
  • For each row from the filter, collect needed information in an array variable
  • Send email with the collected information

Hope this helps you on the way towards a solution 🙂

Kind regards, John

Thank you for your reply @JohnAageAnderse

I've tried to create the flow from different templates, but I have limited experience so I've not been able to succeed. I will try to play a bit whit what you've suggested, thank you
