I'm doing a flow that runs after a work item in Azure is changed to an X state and other custom fields. Everything runs until after receiving approval or rejection from the approver, when the flow reaches the part to update the work item, specifically the custom status and throws the following error:
The field ‘State’ contains the value ‘XXXX’ that is not in the list of supported values

It looks like you are setting a wrong value in the state field
Can you recheck the value passed to the state field? Or paste screens from your flow so we can help more.
Thanks.
View Work item en Azure with states:
I guess you need to pass the statecode value rather than the name.
How can I do that?
I have been looking more into this issue, from what I read I understood that this custom state should be related to a category and work item type.
So the way you are setting it looks correct, are u able to update the item from the UI to the same state?
Yes, from the UI allows me to switch to all custom states
I would like to suggest the below to troubleshoot this issue, create a manual flow and add Getworkitemdetails action and pass the Id of an existing work item with custom state, run the flow and observe the output.
Hi Mira and thank you very much in advance for your help; I have run the test that you indicate and now what is next?

I can see that the status is as below:
If manually from the UI it allows me to move and change states, but the drawback is that from the automated flow it presents the error and does not update to the following states "Rejected CAB" or "Approved CAB"
Muchas gracias.
