Excel Connector - how to CLEAR a row

the excel connector has function to DELETE a row. this is very problematic because it removes the row from the table. For instance, if you wanted to remove the data from all rows in the table, you could:

  1. Get all rows in the table
  2. Add an 'Apply to each'
  3. Add action to Delete Row

unfortunately, doing the above corrupts your excel file because it DELETES all the rows in the table, and tables must have at least 1 row of data.

Hi @dave-jorgensen,

Thanks for your feedback, the issue is confirmed on my side. All rows are removed from the excel file and the excel file is corrupted with the solution that you provided.

If you want to delete a row in excel file, you must specify a File name, a Table name and a unique Row id. There is no way to get one separated Row id of an Excel file in Microsoft Flow currently, but you could consider get all rows id with “Get rows” action and filter these rows id with one condition to find specific one row id.

Best regards,

Kris

What if I want to just clear a cell, how can I do it?

I have tried updating the row but I dont know what to update it with, I have tried NULL, tried to assign a string "" but it doesnt seem to work.

Maybe some one can help!
