Experiences Populating a MS Word Template from a SharePoint List

I have two related SharePoint lists List A and List B. Each item in List A is related to a single item in List B, and items in List B can be relted to more than one item in List A.

Information from both List A and List B together populate a one-page report. (MS Word document)

I'm using a manually triggered flow that pulls data from both lists (using Get items) and then writes a series of MS Word documents using Populate a Microsoft Word template (preview). There are two significant challenges, one of which I have overcome:

1) There are two multi-select pick lists in the SharePoint lists that need to be included in the final report - it was extremely tedious to get these to render properly in the Word document. After extensive reserarch I was able to use a series of string variables to build up something that could be displayed in the Word plain text field... this is something that I hope is built into the Populate a Microsoft Word Template action soon.

2) Several of the fields from the Sharepoint list are currency, and I have not yet found a good way to render them in the Word file - they come through as text. It would seem that formatting a number as currency would be a very basic feature of either the Flow engine (as an Expression perhaps?) or of the MS Word action. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the general outline:

Hi @Matt_Markahm,

Maybe you can convert the string to currency refer to this post:
