Extracting outlook calendar event(new, modified and deleted) to excel

Hi

We are currently trying out Flow in our company and we want to test it with something we have been looking for in a long time.

We want to extract all calendar events for all employees to excel, and also to keep it updated when the events are modified or deleted.

We are using the spreadsheet for resource planning.

How do we go about doing this, I have tried a few instructions on the net but it does give us the desired results.

Hi @Gomolemo,

You said “extract all calendar events for all employees”, do you want to also extract events on employee’s personal calendar?

I assume that you have created connection to Outlook calendar based on your credentials. I am afraid that it might be not possible to get others’ calendar events using the flow you have created.

As you are using spreadsheet for resource planning, which has not been supported by Microsoft Flow yet. If you need this feature, please submit a request on Flow Ideas Forum:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Flow-Ideas/idb-p/FlowIdeas

For your scenario, if you are trying to extract all the events on your calendar, please try to trigger the flow with a Button, then the action Get events, insert rows into an Excel table.

After you get all the events, you may need to create a second flow with the trigger When an event is added, updated or deleted, then use the Excel action Update row to update the corresponding item.

Please take a try with it on your side and feel free post back if you need more help.

Best regards,

Mabel Mao
