File Size Condition

I've built an SFTP flow that copies files uploaded to our website to SharePoint, sends a notification, and then deletes the file off the website. I'd like to add a condition where that it does a check first to determine the file size before it tries to copy the file so that if it exceeds the current cap, it can just send a notification that a new file has to be manually copied. Maybe I am missing it but I don't see the options that I can do this?

Second question, is if there are any plans to increase the limit to 100 or 250 mbyte files? (And if so make the above conditional dynamically adjustable in the flow to the new limit so that it doesnt have to be recoded.)

Hi Perry,

Currently we don’t have a Dynamic content for File size, so it is not possible to check if the file size exceeds the current cap.

The max file size limitation is 50 MB. It seems that there is a plan on increasing the limits to much large values. Please see this thread for a reference:

For both the two issues, I would suggest you submit an idea at Flow ideas Forum, I will help collect and report it on my side. PGs will check the ideas forum and take popular ideas into consideration in the future releases.

You cannot get the file size OOB in MS flow, however, there is a way to obtain the size. it shows in bytes, you can either do condiiton compare against bytes or convert to KB and do condition check.

Please check this article on the same. https://sharepointmadeeasy.blogspot.de/2018/03/microsoft-flow-outlook-365-get.html
