Filter Query for Microsoft Form Response ID in List Rows Present in a Table

Hi,

I have the following Excel table with ID column. The Excel table was populated using Microsoft Form.

M_Asnawi_0-1630473551562.png

I am using 'List rows present in a table' to get a matching ID using Filter Query.

M_Asnawi_1-1630473630205.png

The input as follows:

M_Asnawi_2-1630473873072.png

However, it does not show any output.

The output as follows:

{"body":{"value":[]}}

May I know what should I do to get the Excel row that matches with my filter query? My current technique returns no output.

Thank you.

Regards,

Nawi

Hi @M_Asnawi ,

Can you try removing the single quotes in  your filter

You can also use the Get response details action to get the response details.

Hi @eric-cheng ,

Sorry for late reply, I was on offday. After playing around a bit, I got the function that I want, which is 'Get a row'.

However, under normal condition, I think your suggestion works as well, so I'm gonna tick it as solution.

Thank you.

Regards,

Nawi

Hi Eric,

I have removed the single quote. Still no output.

Actually, this is how it looks like.

After user gives the input using Microsoft Form, I made something with the data using switch (this does not interfere with Flow process). Then, the updated data (with latest ID), I need to e-mail them to another end-user.

I was using Filter Query for Excel, in the hope that it will filter the data of the current filled up Form. Then, send it through e-mail.

Unfortunately, no output.

Please advise way forward.

Thank you.

Regards,

Nawi

A late comment on this topic, but I find there's a delay in any of the Excel commands being able to pull recently added rows into a flow. If you trigger with submitting the form and the flow immediately references the Excel sheet, it may not find the response ID row. If you delay it 5min it seems to work much more consistently.
