Hello guys!
I use a Flow to trigger an Approval when a new Sharepoint List item is added, to manage vacation requests in my company.
I was in vacation for 3 weeks and in this time the EMail behaviour from the Approval changed somehow..now the Approver gets a weird looking Email Approval which redirects him to the Flow Approval page. The problem is, the information (Start date, end date) are missing in this "preview" Email and the user is forced to go to the Flow Page. We don't want that, we want him to "inline" Approve/Deny and see all information necessary. The process should be easy and straightforward, not confused by going to a seperate homepage and approve stuff there..
Fig.1 New Approval Mail with the information of and inline approval hidden behindt "Show original Message" in the bottom - upper part redirects to Flow Homepage (FLOW HP)
Fig. 2: "Old view" of the Mail for Approval, also visible if forwarded to someone else...
So, has anyone the same issue or any idea how to get the old, good working inline view as seen in picture 2?
Looking forward to your answers,
Greetings Sandrigo Zoilo
I just looked at an Approval email I got yesterday and I'm not seeing the same issue you are. What version of Outlook are you using and has that been upgraded in the last few weeks. I have seen display issues based on what email client was being used. The formatting of the Active Cards comes out different on different email clients.
Hey there,
i use Microsoft Outlook for Office 365 MSO (16.0.11328.20420) 64 Bit.
I enrolled all O365 via Intune and it should update itself to latest versions always i guess.
Which version do you got?
I'm using not quite the same build, but pretty close.
So I'm not sure why you are seeing a different email. To the best of my knowledge the formatting hasn't changed.
