Flow Only Works for Owner Submission: Form -> Approval -> Planner -> Outlook

Hello everyone,

I created a flow based on a Form submission by someone in my company. It works perfectly... if the form is submitted by me. It doesn't trigger if another user submits it. I've read the same problem exists with SharePoint and that it might be a permissions issue, but I cannot find it. Thanks for any support!

After WAY too long to admit, I figured it out! I had to use the custom field, and enter the form ID, then reselect the dynamic fields.

Form ID = the end of the html address, after "id="

@NewbieX2

I am not aware of an issue like this with Forms or SharePoint.  Can you confirm that the users are actually submitting your Form rather than a copy/duplicate of your Form?

Thanks for the quick response, Scott. They are definitely submitting new, unique responses. I just triple checked with the users and the spreadsheet the form is built from.

@NewbieX2

Might be a bug...

Try this: do Save As on existing Form and create a duplicate Form. Then, point the existing Power Automate flow to the newly created Form.  Then test.

I tried that. Also tried duplicating the flow, and building the flow all over again. It works perfectly when I do it 😕
