Flow Run Time Increased by more than 5000% after Sept 16th

Hello,

I have a flow which generates a .csv file from sharepoint list items and emails it to requester, just like export excel function in sharepoint list. I have people picker field with multiple selections allowed, the names dont display correctly if I use that field directly. I have a apply to each loop on that people picker field and using get user profile(v2) to get each display name and appending it to a string variable and then using a append for array variable to generate csv using the data operation generate csv table action.

Until Sept 16th the flow was running fine and took no more than 30 minutes to export a list of 400 items. Now its taking 2- 5 days for a flow run to complete. The data did not change and the flow did not change. The apply to each loop where I am getting the user names and appending them to variable is taking too long now.

Anybody can provide insights on what could be the reason ?

Hello @ck25415

Could you share a screenshot of your Flow

Apply to each 5 is where i get all the list items, apply to each 6 is where loop into the people picker field with multiple selection enabled. append all names into a string variable which is then appended to a array variable to be used to create .csv file.

I think I figured it out, I am hitting the 2000 actions per day limit. Time to upgrade to premium flow license.

I am also facing this issue. Are you sure that the "Daily limit" is the root cause of the issue?

Hi @ck25415

Could you confirm if the premium license has solved your issue?

Hello @Naval_Verma

You could use the new analytics feature to check your Flows usage:

Power Automate analytics - Power Platform | Microsoft Docs

Or you could check on a individual Flow basis, by clicking 'Analytics' inside the Flow portal
