Flow changes original 'Created By' when using Get Attachments

Hopefully somone can help.

We've created a Flow using our Administrator account which sends a Sharepoint List item for approval to a manager when created. Once approved Flow then uses the 'Get-Attachments' to pull the file and copy it to a Sharepoint library. Once done it then removes the Sharepoint List item.

All works perfectly fine apart from the new file in the library says Created By 'Administrator' rather than the original user that uploaded it to the List.

Is there any way to keep the original 'Created By'?

I've added some attachments which may help with exactly what happens with the flow.Flow1.PNGFlow2.PNG

Hi,

According to your description, when you copy the Attachments from list to library the Created By was changed.

I have made a test on my side. It has the same issue.

when you copy a file from one library to another, you can use the get file properties and update file properties to edit the created By value.

Here, your file was come from a list, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in Microsoft Flow currently.

Because there is no configuration of Created By in Create a file action.

It will set the created By as the user account of the Flow.

Best Regards,

Zhongys
