Hi all,
Newer to flow and have seen that the basic Wordpress connector in flow is for wordpress.com sites, not .org sites. Has anyone build a custom connector? I started digging in to try but have been have minimal luck and was hoping I could find someone to guide me on this journey!
Thanks for your time!!!

Hi @TheBradMenendez ,
Do you want to create a custom connector for Wordpress.org site?
Could you please share more details about your probelms when you create the custom connector?
Best regards,
Alice

Hi Alice @v-alzhan-msft ,
I tried to walk through the process of creating a custom connector, though I really could use some assistance on how to do it from step 1 because I don't know that my host is even correct, and from there step 2 is security and I'd think i need an API Key from my custom wordpress theme but not sure how to get that either.
Because of my inexperience with both API's and Creating Custom Connectors, I can't trust that any of the 3 steps in the Flow custom connector are remotely setup properly.
Thanks,
Brad
Did you get it working in the end? I also need help with this!
I am working on a custom connector to our Wordpress site.
So far I am able to list posts and pages and some other basic items surfaced using the standard Wordpress API.
I have a PowerApp that shows the list.
No Posts yet but that's my next step.
The only issue is getting the author name, this is normally obtained by using the _embed extender but I haven't figured out how to use that without breaking the connector.
Alternatively a lookup could be used in the code but then it gets complicated.
If anyone else is working on this I would be happy to share my findings.
Probably a blog post soon.
This sounds amazing! Unfortunately I'm a total noob, so I can't really help you lol. But I'll sure read your blog! 🙂
So keen to read that blog post if you manage to get it working! 😛
Did you ever publish the blog ?
I am interested in connecting to a Wordpress site.
Regards
Nigel
