Flow only working on 'save'

I have a flow that is triggered on 'update item' in a sharepoint list.

Flows works fine when testing.

When I change an item in a list, the flow does not start automaticaly. But when I go into the flow (edit) and I click on 'save' (without changing anything) the flow start with the last change of the list.

Anyone?

Hi @TomGH ,

Thanks for updating.

What’s the Flow Plan you are using?

If you are using a Flow Free plan, then maximum flow frequency for Flow is 15 minutes. For your reference:

Hi @TomGH ,

Could you share a screenshot of your flow? How is it set up?

When you are saying the flow is triggered on “update item”, are you using the trigger When an item is created or modified?

For testing, I have created a flow likes below. Whenever I create/modify an item in the list, the flow will be triggered.

Please share more details to help reproduce this issue.

Below is how the flow is set up.

Apparantely it is really the trigger that seems to be the problem.

When I modify a list item, the flow is not triggered. Going into the flow, clicking 'save' starts the flow.

Hi @TomGH ,

Do you start your flow from certain template?

Currently, there is no trigger When an existing item is modified, do you just rename the trigger When an item is created or modified?

Whenever you modify an item in the list, the flow won’t be triggered. While you need to Save the flow to trigger it for each modification. Am I right?

The issue still could not be reproduced by me. Please share a URL of the flow, I will help report the issue if it still exists.

By the way, when sharing images with us, please remove/hide your personal info, including Email address, organization name, etc. for security purpose. Thanks for your understanding.

Best regards,

Mabel

In the mean time I figured out the the flow is indeed triggered when an item is modified.

Only, it sometimes takes more then 10 minutes before it does.

That doesn't strike me as being efficient.

So, case closed for me. I can't use it.
