Flow to publish a news item on a future date

We have a requirement to automatically publish some news items once a particular date in the future is reached. Is there any way of achieving this with Flow? The only way I know of to "publish" the news item is using the "set content approval status" action to "approved". The problem is, we don't need/want all news items to go through the content approval process,.

(happy with how to do all the date calculations etc with Flow. It's the ability to publish without the content approval process turned on that we cannot work out)

Hi @Jane-DC,

You could take a try with delay until action as screenshot below:

The expression in the below as below would delay one minute to create the item:

You could also addHours or addDays to the time.

The flow would run successfully as below:

Best regards,

Hi Alice,

Many thanks for your reply. We are ok with the timing aspect, but are unclear how to make the news "live" (published) using Flow, but without having content approval on. The news items will already be in a pages library - it's just we need the ability to make them live. I am also looking at whether we could do this using the promoted state...

Kind Regards
