Flow to read all event items on a SharePoint Calendar

still new to Flow ... so I might just be missing something. And I'm sure there's a simple workaround.

I am taking over a site that has an events calendar. The owners would like to set up a weekly reminder of all "Active" events that are on the calendar.

I'm sure this can be done via workflow in SharePoint Designer BUT I would rather use Flow. I was expecting that the SharePoint - Get Items action works on a calendar. Apparently, it does not as the calendar does not show up on the list selection.

Would be nice for Flow to be able to read calendar items as well.

Thanks.

Re: Flow to read all event items on a SharePoint Calendar

Hi FredG,

Flow is able to read the default lists in SharePoint Online.

Please try to click the “Enter custom value”, then enter the name of the calendar manually you created on your site.

Please try it on your side.

@v-yamao-msft  I thought I tried that before and got an error but apparently did not do it properly :). Thank you so much! Working perfectly for what I needed.

@anhthuch4ng Thank you for the follow-up.

Re: Flow to read all event items on a SharePoint Calendar

The problem with this "solution" is that technically it does not get all events, as it does not pull in all recurring events. Instead, it only pulls in the first event of a recurring event series.

Does anyone know a workaround or way to pull in all occurances of recurring events?
