Flow to send SMS

Hi Team

What is the most cost effective solution to getting a Flow to send an SMS when an item is added to a Sharepoint List?

There are templates for both Twilio and Telesign.

The Telesign I would need a premium PowerAutomate account to use the template (does this mean that if I sign up for a premium licence that the Telesign SMS functionality would be free?)

The Twilio is a standard template but I need to top up my Twilio account to send SMS messages from their service.

Do you guys have any experience and/or recommendations?

Thanks

D

Hi @milky_bar_may

From the blog it says you have to pay depending on the location. Please directly email the third party (Telesign) and get more details.

Hi @milky_bar_may

Yes you need a premium license for Telesign.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/connectors/telesignsms/

If don't want to pay for premium license then you can look into Twilio but that requires topup for the service.

Here is a good comparison of all SMS connectors and pricing.

Thanks

Re: Flow to send SMS

Hi @abm

That's fantastic information, thank you.

So if I sign up for a PowerAutomate premium licence, I will not also have to pay Telesign for a service?

It's a little unclear so would appreciate if you could help clarify.

Thanks
