Flow with Outlook and Planner

Hi,

I have set up a flow to create a planner task within a teams chanell when an outlook email is flagged. I have a few questions on how to improve this flow.

I am wondering is it possible to have the email as an attachment in the planner task, or even just bring more information on the email as it just gets the email subject.

Can the follow up date that is set within outlook be the due date for the planner task?

Also would it be possible to have a pre defined workflow for the planner tasks? For example a set number of tasks that need to be completed for every task.

Apprectiate any feedback!

Thanks

Re: Flow with Outlook and Planner

Hi @Conor96 ,

There is no any way to have the email as an attachment in the planner task, if you want to bring more information on the email, you could send the email body to the task description as screenshot below:

Could you please explain more details about the "Can the follow up date that is set within outlook be the due date for the planner task? Also would it be possible to have a pre defined workflow for the planner tasks? Best regards,

Alice

Re: Flow with Outlook and Planner

Hi Alice,

Thanks for the reply!

So within outlook this option is available. When you select follow up you can set a due date. The flow then runs and creates the planner task however the due date entered here does not go to the planner task. Would it be possible to have the due date set here to be the due date for the task?

On the predefined workflow, is it possible that when an email is flagged and the planner task is created that a set of sub tasks can be added to the task in the checklist field? So in the below example could this checklist be automatically added to all the planner tasks that are created from the flagged email?

Thanks for your help!
