Forms to excel

Hi Everyone!

I'm building a form for multiple locations that will be using it and I'm running into an issue with the data storage. Is it possible to automate that If the person filling out my form selects a certain location they are at then their information will be exported to Excel in a specific sheet? Right now all the data goes to one sheet making it harder to organize but if it is possible to automate this process of filtering out to different sheets then that would be amazing.

Hi @Anonymous

You can trigger a Power Automate for each element that is submitted by the users.

Please note that the location will only come from the triggers submitted on the mobile app.

I had a similar problem in which a customer wanted to store the Forms data in SharePoint List(He also wanted to organize data)

I copied the data from the Source Excel file using Excel 'Get a row' action.

The 'Key Value'  in Excel action > ‘Response Id’ the output of the Microsoft Forms ‘ When a new response is submitted‘ action. The organize the Data to other other Excel or other data-source.

I have a blog in which I store the record to a SharePoint List, . You can perhaps build on it.

I hope this helps
