I have been a happy user of the SharePoint collumns that can pick EXIF data from pictures into SharePoint collumns. In a period it has not been working and I have found out that Microsoft has deprecated this functionality
I have been trying to figure out if I somehow can extract the EXIF data with Flow, but until now with no luck. Do anyone of you experts know if there is a solution to this? I can see that it is possible to send my current location with Flow, so there must be something that can be done.
The only thing I have found so far is that I have to run a CSOM script everytime I upload a picture to the library. I am a no code guy and were hoping for some kind of solution in Flow. Anyone tried something similar?

Hi @venseben ,
Thanks for feedback, but I am afraid that your scenario could not be achieved currently using Flow directly.
I have seen a similar request on Flow Ideas Forum about “Photo file service - to get informations like location , taken date, creator”, please vote and comment the idea at here:

Hi @v-yamao-msft , and thanks a lot for quick reply. I have seen a blog with Paul Culmsee where he uses a webservice to get metadata (http://www.cleverworkarounds.com/2017/11/13/a-sample-openapiswagger-file-for-powerapps/), and I might think this should be something that I can have a look at. But I have made the vote

Extracting EXIF metadata from SharePoint
Showcase of a solution that requires nothing more than native SharePoint out-the-box features / capabilities. i.e. a zero code & a zero Power Automate flow solution.
@Office365Master THX for the link but I am not able to open the site. I will try again tomorrow.

Hi again @Office365Master I have seen your video and it looked good, but what I need is to get the longitude and latitude from the picture. I can see that you have another post on this issue taht is done with flow. I think I will have a look at that.
Greetings and thx from Denmark

That's correct - it isn't a solution for surfacing the specific geo coordinates (latitude & longitude) for any given photo or video. This blog targets the most common fields users might want to surface in their own apps or flows or simply leverage within SharePoint natively.
My previous blog does showcase how you can surface the GPS info using either the Graph v2 REST APIs or the RenderListDataAsStream API. In that blog I've also shared the demo Power App and Power Automate flow that should hopefully make it easier for App Makers or Power Automate users wanting to simply want to leverage the flow for other requirements.
