Get Username instead of GUID (modified by)

I understand that the Modified By field is returning GUID but how I I actually extract the user name or user property from this GUID? I tried Office 365 User Profile connector and followed the solution here, both failed.

Hello

You will want to use a Get Records CDS action on the Users entity. And pass in the guid

Re: Get Username instead of GUID (modified by)

OMG! Thank you so much. When I tried following the steps from the link I provided previously, I must have missed the part where to select "Users" entity in Get Record.

@Tamras

Glad I could help 🙂

Yes, the link you provided, they were using the Accounts entity.

Get records will only work if you have the Unique ID (the guid of the lookup)

Happy flowing!
