I have the file names and I want to get file ID (to update metadata).
The query is correct, and the file exists in the library, but it doesn't return any results more than the first 5000 files.
Isnt the point of filter query is to work within the 5000 view limit.
Wondering what other workarounds there are to select a file based on it's name/FileLeafRef. The library has >70,000 items.
As a test, can you hard code the filename with extension in your Flow and see if it works for you (rather than using the output of a previous action)?
Also, I believe the comparison is case sensitive - can you verify that the filenames match exactly including case?
Already tried the hard-code (with and without extension) case sensitive and all- tried all combinations multiple times.
the same query format returns the 4999th item, but not the 5001st item.
I can even copy the "Input" file name, manually search it in the document library, and it will return the correct file.
It appears as though this is a known issue and the solution suggested is don't have large libraries which is not a great answer.
