I created the following flows (all using MS template):
1. Google Calendar to Office 365 Calendar
2. Delete Office 365 events previously created from Google Calendar
3. Update Office 365 events previously created from Google Calendar
I confirmed that
a. When I create a new google calendar entry it creates an office calendar appointment #1
b. When I delete a google calendar appointment (previously copied to office calendar #1), the corresponding office calendar appointment gets delete #2
c. When I modify a google calendar appointment (previously copied to office calendar #1), the corresponding office calendar appointment gets modified #3
The problem I have is that if I generate a google calendar appointment not manually, it doesn't create a new office calendar appointment. This is sites like meetup that have the option "add to google calendar" or when you download an ical and import it. they would break the flow
Any suggestions to cover that case?

Hi @garce,
Yes, if you could please close this thread out by responding with your next steps of "starting another thread once you can characterize the Flow issue in more detail" and marking that response as the "Accepted Solution", that would be great!
That way, your fellow community members can follow your progress if they have similar Flow related issues. 🙂

Hi @garce,
Could you please share a screenshot of your flow's configuration?
How do you generate your google calendar appointment?
Do you add a google appointment from Meetup site which is an online social networking service? The screenshot as below:
I have made a test on my side and the flow works well. My flow's configuration as below:
The calendar event is created in my google calendar from the Meetup site as below:
The flow works successfully as below:
Please check if the calendar appointment from the Meetup site is created in your Google calendar. In addition, please consider take a try to create your flow from the scratch, because, sometimes there is something wrong with the flow created from the templates.
Best regards,
Kris
Hi,
I will be monitoring this and report back. I used the Flow posted by Microsoft without any changes. Possible user error.

Hi @garce,
Have you had a chance to apply @v-xida-msft's recommendations to adapt your Flow?
If yes and you found that solution to be satisfactory, please go ahead and mark this thread as "Solved". 🙂
Happy Flowing!

Hi,
I didn't change anything yet. I was using the original one posted by Microsoft.
Unfortunately, I am finding there are multiple points to add the meeting to the calendar. I can say some work for sure and some didn't seem to work. For any appointment I enter manually it works all the time and very well.
I don't receive that many meetups so is hard for me to a) exactly remember and b) provide meaningful feedback.
If you want we can close this one and I can add another once I characterize the problem better.

Hi @garce,
I see that you have a flow that updates Office 365 Calendar events from Google Calendar. Would you mind sharing that template as I have been looking for months for this flow. I have found flows that create and delete calendar events in Office 365 Calendar from Google Calendar, but not one that Updates. Thank you for your assistance!
I don't know how to share properly 😞
PS. Also I am not a programmer and wouldnt be able to explain how it works / doesn't work
